Rebecca Fulwood (RAD RTS CBTS AIDTA) is a passionate advocate for the arts and community engagement. She joined the board of trustees for Strouden Park Community Centre in 2021 and currently serves as Chair, helping to make a positive impact in her local area.
Rebecca’s love for performing arts, especially dance, led her to qualify as a dance teacher through the Royal Academy of Dance and the International Dance Teachers Association. In 2007, she founded Adagio Dance Academy, where she teaches Ballet, Tap, Contemporary Modern Jazz, Pointe Work, Stretch and Condition, Musical Theatre, and Adult Fitness to students of all ages, staging bi-annual shows such as Peter Pan.
Rebecca’s hobbies and interests include the arts, reading, travelling, and attending the theatre—her favourite pastime. Alongside her artistic pursuits, she works part-time as an Advanced Processor for Benefits and Welfare Services at BCP Council, bringing 18 years of experience in administration and customer service. Her diverse skill set includes leadership, creativity, business management, and event planning.
Rebecca is also a busy wife and devoted mum to her two children, Elsie and Jude. Balancing her professional, creative, and family life, she finds joy in supporting her community and cherishes time spent with her family.

Sue is a dedicated Trustee at Strouden Park Community Centre, where she has contributed her skills for nearly five years, drawing on a wealth of experience in finance, accounting, and charity governance. Sue’s professional journey began in a solicitor’s office in Bournemouth, before she moved on to take up senior positions at Max Factor and Revlon, rising to the role of UK Salaries & Wages Manager. After Max Factor was acquired by Procter & Gamble, Sue continued to advance, holding various leadership positions in accounts, finance, facilities, and operations management at P&G’s International Distribution Centre.
Upon taking early retirement, Sue devoted her time to community service, first as a General Adviser at Citizens Advice in Poole and subsequently as a Trustee and Secretary of The Colour Works Foundation. At Strouden Park Community Centre, Sue fulfils dual responsibilities as both Trustee and Secretary/Treasurer. Her commitment to volunteerism extends further, as she also serves as Treasurer and Health & Safety Officer for the Bournemouth Branch of the Samaritans, and organises regional activities for Procter & Gamble Associates.
Outside of her professional and voluntary roles, Sue enjoys spending time socialising, going to the cinema with her husband, and relaxing at home. She is deeply passionate about promoting fairness, kindness, and equal opportunities for everyone.

Debbie is a dynamic and people-focused individual who thrives on connecting with others and creating positive experiences. As Community Centre Manager, she enjoys meeting new people, learning their stories, and finding ways to make them feel welcome and supported. Her passion for customer service has been a constant throughout her career, having spent many years in retail banking in roles such as Relationship Manager, Branch Manager, and Mortgage Specialist—where her love of both people and number-crunching shone through.
Outside of work, Debbie is a devoted mother to two young daughters, relishing the joy of guiding them through childhood while sharing in their adventures. She is also an animal lover, with a lively household that includes a mischievous sausage dog, two cheerful budgies, and a rabbit.
In her spare time, Debbie embraces life’s pleasures: travelling to warm destinations, exploring different cultures, practising Pilates, taking long beach walks, and experimenting in the kitchen. Energetic, caring, and always ready for a challenge, Debbie brings enthusiasm and heart to everything she does.

Brenda brings a wealth of experience and dedication to her role as trustee at Strouden Park Community Centre. She spent three decades working within the NHS, including 26 years as a medical secretary at Christchurch and Bournemouth Hospitals. Her commitment to learning has continued throughout her life, undertaking numerous courses connected to both the Community Centre and her responsibilities as Churchwarden at St John’s in Holdenhurst. These experiences have strengthened her administrative expertise and people skills, which she now applies to supporting the Centre’s operations and community initiatives. Brenda has a particular passion for working with older people, ensuring their voices and needs are valued within the Centre’s activities.
Outside of her trustee role, Brenda enjoys gardening, reading, socialising with friends, and relaxing with television. Her blend of professional knowledge, community involvement, and personal warmth makes her a valued member of the trustee board and a strong advocate for building an inclusive, supportive environment at Strouden Park.
